Everything good comes from the Presence of God within you. You must give this Presence your attention and your allegiance. God put something inside of us that will not let us down – His Presence!

You will begin to understand that this journey consists of building blocks. Each month we will give you a new technique to add on top of the previous months’ blocks. Therefore, continue working with the earlier techniques as you add the new ones.

And again, continue self interrogation concerning what you are feeding you mind. You will begin to see that depending on what you are feeding your mind will also affect what you are defining and declaring. Superman

In the comic books when the ordinary mortals get in trouble, who did they send for? Superman!  Nobody yet has been able to obstruct Superman.   In our Science of Living teachings, Superman represents the Infinite Power within each person.  And I’m going to teach you how to find the Superman within you.  Wow!!!

Before I begin, I’d like to clarify my use of the word Superman in this lesson: I am using the word Superman as the abbreviated form of the personage I am actually speaking about, which is Super-mankind—so yes, I am also speaking of women as well.

I want to offer two Scripture from the letters of Apostle Paul:  “God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can think or ask through the power that works in us.”  (Ephesians 3:20)  “God has given us the spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  (2 Timothy 1:7)  Now the translation from Rev. Ike is: GOD IS THE SUPERMAN AND THE SUPER-MIND WITHIN ME NOW AND FOREVER.  Even though you are reading this material, I want you to read these words aloud, because your words have power.  Your spoken word impresses your subconscious mind and I am always endeavoring to impress positive ideas upon your subconscious mind.  This was one of the secrets of Mind Power that Jesus used.  Jesus knew what to speak and how to speak it.  When He went to the graveyard, he raised Lazarus from the dead by speaking the words, “Lazarus, come forth!”  Then the atoms began to dance again in that cold flesh and resurrected Lazarus from the grave.  So I want you to know that your spoken words have power.

“God is the Superman and the Super-Mind within me now and forever.”

Now I’d like to talk about the word “God.”  Most of us have heard the word “God” before.  Unfortunately, the majority of the organized religions the world over teach us that God is someone or something, somewhere else.  But notice the Scripture you just read says that, “God IS able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can think or ask….” How?

Through the Power and Presence of God that work in us.  I can see the little old ladies from the pink lemonade society get upset when I say things like that.  But I want to say this:  “God does not work for you from outside of you.  God works for you from within your very own mind.”  I want to put this in the first person and remember, say it aloud: 

“God does not work for me from outside of me.  God works for me from within my very own mind.”

When you discover this Power, this Presence, this Mind of God within you and what it can do for you, it makes you a Superman.  You will discover you have more power within you than you have ever used.  You will realize you have more possibilities within you than you have ever tapped.  Here in the Science of Living, we make you aware of the unlimited possibilities and the unlimited potential that are within you.  We make you aware that you can have health happiness, love, success, prosperity, and money by teaching you to get in contact with the Superman and the Super-mind of God that are within you.  We make you aware of what this Superman within you is – God is the Superman and the Super-Mind within you, now and forever. Your spoken words have power:

“God is the Superman and the Super-Mind within me now and forever.”

THE DISCOVERY OF SUPERMAN
Anybody can discover the Superman, the Super-Power within.  It doesn’t matter what your chronological age may be.  Some of the greatest things in the world have been done by people who have been in their so-called “old age.”  For example consider Colonel Sanders and his Kentucky Fried Chicken.  Now here’s a man who was “sent out to pasture” to collect his social security and to sit around waiting to die.  But Colonel Sanders discovered a super idea within his own mind that caused him to become a multi-millionaire in his so-called “old age.”  He started frying chicken…and began selling his fried chicken all over the world.  And became as rich as he could be!  And when you discover the Superman, the Super-Mind, the Super-Idea, the Super-Power that is within you, you can “do exceeding abundantly above ALL that we [meaning the intellect, the conscious mind] can even think or ask.”

The Apostle Paul says, “God has given us the spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  This Power, this Presence, this Mind of God works in you.  One of the pathetic things about people praying in the old religious context is that people are always asking God to give them something which they already have. 

People write to me to request, “Dear Rev. Ike, please pray for the Lord to give me more faith.”  My subconscious reply to them is, “What are you doing with the faith you already have?”  Well, my God!  The Mastermind says if you have “faith as the grain of a mustard seed, you can move mountains.”  God has already given to us this faith and yet we’ve been taught to pray like beggars, to pray those old “please Jesus” prayers, even though the Superman is already within us.  What are you going to do with all of this that God has already given you?  God has given us – what?  He has given us the Spirit.  What kind of Spirit has He given us?  We have the Spirit of Power.  God has given us “the Spirit of Power, of Love and of a sound [disciplined] Mind.”  God has placed His very own mind within us, and I believe it’s Judge Thomas Troward who says it this way, “MY MIND IS A CENTER OF DIVINE OPERATION.” Rev. Ike’s translation is “GOD OPERATES IN MY MIND.” Use the power of your spoken words:

“God operates in my mind.”

YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO THROUGH CHANGES TO FIND GOD
Now the question is:  How do I contact God, the Super-Power, the Super-Mind, and the Superman within me?

This verse of Scripture makes it so simple:  “In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” (Proverbs 3:6)  Sometimes, these things are so simple that people just stumble all over them.  All you have to do is have a conscious awareness, a realization that God, the Superman, the Super-Mind, and the Super-Power, is already within you.  “In all of your ways acknowledge Him...”  And if you do that, the Scripture says He will do what?  He will direct your path.

We have been led to believe we have to go through many changes to find God.  We’ve been baptized, simonized and catechized.  Some of you have been saved and sanctified.  The last time I was baptized, it was on a cold November morning in a snaky creek.  And honestly, I saw snakes crawl into that water while the ceremony was going on.  You’ll never get me to do that again!  But we don’t have to go anywhere geographically to find God.  Because God works for you from within your very own mind and all that God is, is within you.

Those of you who are new to this, I’m going to challenge you to start from this moment to acknowledge God within your very own being.  I want you to affirm this aloud right now:

“Right here and right now, I acknowledge that Almighty God, the Superman, the Super-mind, the Super-Power that God is and all that God is, is within me, operating in my mind and as my mind.”

When you start preaching to yourself like this every day, beautiful ideas are going to begin to come to you.  You’re going to find solutions to the obstacles that you have been facing.  Your subconscious mind is going to correlate the answer for you.  The Super-Mind within you is going to give you the right idea – RIGHT NOW.  So the thing for you to do, which is so simple, is to start acknowledging the Superman, the Super-Power that is within you.  If you will accept the idea that the Superman is within you, then you will begin to experience and express the Superman.

Again, Jesus says, “All things are possible to him who believes.”  Believes what?  If you believe in yourself, if you believe in the God-in-you, if you believe in the divine Power within yourself, all things are possible to you.  We’re not here on this earth to be weaklings and worms.  We’re here to be powerful individuals!  You’ll never find a person who knows who he is in God and who God is in him, being a weakling or a pushover.  God has given us “the Spirit of Power and of Love and of a sound Mind.” A God-conscious person is the most powerful person in the universe. 

THE TRUTH ABOUT BEING MEEK AND HUMBLE
A lot of people have said to me, “But Rev. Ike doesn’t the Bible say we’re supposed to be meek and humble?”  The truth of being meek and humble means not to exalt the human self.  We teach you to exalt the divine Self, never to exalt the human self.  We teach you to become conscious of the divine man, the Superman within you.  We teach you that this powerful person that in within you is the real you.

I want you to be conscious of the fact the God is in you, and stand up like God is in you.  Before you leave your house in the mornings, I want you to stand in front of your mirror, fix your face, fix your clothes, and let God be God-in-you, until you look like God is in you.  When you talk, I want you to talk like the Superman, talk like the Master-Mind is in you.  Let the Master-Mind speak through you.  Be definite and be positive, because the Superman is within you.

When you go to conduct your business, see yourself as the Superman; go with “the Spirit of Power and of Love and of a sound Mind,” and you’ll get much better results.  When you walk down the streets and pass the windows that reflect your image, look at your image in the window and be sure that you’re looking, and walking, and talking, and strutting like God is in you.  For example, if you go for a job interview, go looking and acting like you already have it.  The employment offices are full of people sitting and standing around like dogs with their tails tucked between their legs.  Don’t you go like that! Again, the Master-Mind says, “For whosoever hath, to him is shall be given.”  (Matthew 13:12) All you have to do is let God be God-in-you.  And as the Pentecostal Saint says, “It will speak for itself.”  You’ll have people doing things for you and they won’t even know why they did them.  It will be because the Superman, the Man of Power within you is sending out all of those good vibrations.  Always go in the consciousness that you have what you want, and it will be given to you.  Even out in the marketplace of the world, people are not looking for losers.  People are interested in winners.

THE SECRET OF THE POWER OF JESUS
I don’t know if some of you can take this, but I’m going to lay it on you anyway.  If you really start thinking like God is in you and acting like God is in you, after awhile, you’ll just be God!  And this might blow your mind too; that’s exactly what you’re supposed to be – God.  I dare you from this moment on to know, to acknowledge that God is in you.

This is the secret of the Power of Jesus.  Jesus was so conscious of who He was in God and who God was in Him until he acted like God.  He walked like God and He talked like God.  Can’t you hear Him say, “I and My Father are One.  I am in the Father, and the Father is in me.”  The Apostle Paul declared to the Athenians on Mars’ Hill, “In God we live and move and have our being.”

THE AWARENESS OF GOD
And let me tell you this.  The absolute state of consciousness is to come to such a point of God-awareness that you forget the difference between you and God.  The only God that’s going to do something for you is the God-in-you.  Your own realization of your god-ship is the only thing that’s going to help you and save you and bless you.  Your only savior is your own realization that you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.  This doesn’t mean you should go down the street like a nut shouting to everybody, “I’m God, I’m God.”  This means that you are to let God be God-in-you, through you, and as you, and when you do you will become aware of the Superman within you.

Go forth this month knowing the Superman is in you.  Whatever you are doing, “In all of your ways acknowledge Him.”  Acknowledge Him the last thing before the intellect sleeps at night; acknowledge Him first thing when the intellect wakes up in the morning, and He will go before you and make smooth, beautiful, and perfect your way.

Use the Power of your spoken words to say this Prayer of Affirmation for yourself at least twice every day throughout this month:

Right here and right now I see myself correctly.
I see God as the Superman within me.
I see God as the Master-Mind within me.
I AM open to all of your rich ideas, Master-Mind-in-me!
Lead me from success to success, from prosperity to prosperity, from glory to glory!
I go forth knowing the Super-Mind and the Super-Power are within me.
And I see myself getting super results in everything that I do.
Thank you Father for the Super-Power…the Superman …the Super-Mind within me.
So it is; it cannot be otherwise and I rejoice because of it.
Thank you God-in-me!

Now go forth this month believing and receiving!

Your Personal Self Interrogation Questions for the Superman or Superwoman in you

1. In what situation did I create a Superman or Superwoman solution to my problem that saved my day?
2. Which situations did I allow someone else to create a solution to my problem where I feel I was cheated? Who was the one who really cheated me—BE HONEST?
3. What do I say to myself when a challenge comes my way?
4. What is the first thing I think when a challenge comes along?
1. What do I do?
2. Who do I contact for help?
5. Do my challenges keep coming back?
1. If yes, why do you think it keeps happening—BE HONEST?
6. Based on this month’s teaching what should I do you to respond to a challenge?

Continue to pay close attention to the things you hear yourself saying about you and to you throughout your day—it will be shocking what you hear.

Note: Please pay particular attention to your self-talk—you know those conversations you have with yourself. Ask yourself, “Who do I say that I am?”
